After Breakfast leave to Pinnawala. The Elephant Orphanage which boasts to have the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. Most of them are baby elephants. The elephants are fed at the orphanage and bathed in the nearby river twice a day, which will be an unforgettable experience for you. Pinnawala Elephant orphanage is treated as one of the largest breeding center in the world.
Afterwards proceed to Sigiriya and arrive at the Hotel.

In the afternoon proceed to Minneriya or Habarana by Jeep to visit the Minneriya National park. The park covers an area of 8,889 hectares giving home to 160 species of birds about 25 species of reptiles, 26 fish species, 09 amphibians and more than 78 butterfly species. You are sure of watching Herds of Elephants also. Also possibility to do a Elephant Back safari. Ride on an Elephant Back crossing through rivers & beautiful jungles.

After breakfast Climb the citadel of Sigiriya which was built in 5th century. Sigiriya is treated as one of the most remarkable creations in the world, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). Path through the gardens along Stone stairways come to the Lion Gate. Only the rock carving and the brick structure is evident today of the lion’s mouth through which millions of people have walked to admire the beauty of this magnificent citadel.
Then proceed to Polonnaruwa the second capital of Sri Lanka from 1017 A.D to 1235 A.D. Polonnaruwa is also a UNESCO world heritage city. You will be able to see the ruins of Royal Palace king Parakramabahu, Audience Hall, the statue of king Parakramabahu, Watadage, the Galpotha, Parakrama Samudraya (Sea of Parakrama) which was built by King Parakramabahu I, covers an area of 5940 acres and the elegant Lotus pond was built in 12th century.

After breakfast leave to Mihintale , it is a mountain peak near Anuradhapura. It is believed by Sri Lankans to be the site of a meeting between the Buddhist monk Mahinda and King Devanampiyatissa which inaugurated the presence of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. It is now a pilgrimage site, and the site of several religious monuments and abandoned structures.
Then proceed to Anuradhapura the first capital of Sri Lanka which is a UNESCO world heritage city. Anuradhapura was once a very wealthy monastic city which created a unique culture and a great civilization. British explores discovered this lost city in 19th century. Visit many historical and archeological important places at Anuradhapura such as Sacred Bo-Tree (Sri Maha Bodhi), the right branch of the secret Bodhi tree where Buddha attained enlightenment and one of the oldest historical documented tree in the world, Ruwanweliseya which was built by King Dutugemunu (one of the most greatest stupas in the world).

Proceed Dambulla Rock temple was built by King Walagambahu during the 1st Century B.C. The major attraction of Dambulla is the largest and best preserved cave temple complex which covers an area about 2,100 m². Dambulla is a UNESCO world heritage site. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding and the paintings are done on the ceiling.
