After breakfast leave to Kandy and en-route visit a Tea Plantation factory. Find out how tea leaves end up in a steamy hot cup. Don’t forget to grab a few fresh tea packets on your way out. Kandy was the last capital of Sinhala Kings. The valley of Kandy is surrounded by magnificent hills which made it as the last bastion. Late afternoon climb the Sigiriya Rock, one of Asia’s major archaeological sites. Referred by locals as the Eighth Wonder of the World this ancient palace and fortress complex has significant archaeological importance and attracts thousands of tourists every year. It is probably the most visited tourist destination of Sri Lanka. Sigiriya presents a unique concentration of fifth-century urban planning, architecture, gardening, engineering, hydraulic technology and art.
